Ghada Ahmed Mohamed Amoudi is an associate professor at King Abdulaziz
University, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, Department
of Information Systems. She holds a master's and doctorate from
Dalhousie University (Canada) in the field of social media data
analytics. She has been teaching at various educational institutions
from 2005 to 2012 and from 2017 to the present. In addition to teaching,
her current work includes: academic supervision of doctoral students in
the Information Systems Department, member of the curriculum
development committee, and member of the scholarship supervision
committee and supervision of scientific theses for female students. Her
research interests include social media data analytics, data science,
machine learning, health informatics, and the use of technology in
teaching computer science courses. Among her published research are
studies on using social media for improving Hajj and Umrah services, a
qualitative study on the use of browser-based applications in enhancing
education, and current research on data analysis of medical
data to create a system for detecting and predicting kidney stones and
cysts.
